Amelia Earhart & Jean Batten

Today for reading I had to write a timeline on Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten. I decided to work with Angari again and Ofa. We communicated among each other to get this done. We worked hard and finished it. This time I have learnt a lot about Amelia Earhart. I was a bit struggling on doing Amelia Earhart's timeline but I stall managed to get it done with some help of Angari and Ofa. I think for next time I should do a different aviator not the Wright Brothers or Richard Pearse maybe Alan Cobham who flied corps in World War 1 or maybe Jimmy Doolittle who was an American aviation pioneer.

This week for writing reading I learning how to infer. We read a information report text called high flyers. After that we had to summairse it on a template. I had fun doing this. I had summarise the text in 25 words.

Today for Reading I read a book called Oops. After that I had to find one character and had to write it's down. I also had to put emoticons of their feelings. I also made a News Interview. On that I worked with Malakai and Ofa. It was fun doing the New Interview.

Table Master
Today for maths I went on transum and played Table Master and did the 11 timetables. My fastest answer was 3 x 11 which is 33. My slowest answer was 11 x 10.
All about Tongan Food
Today I did a presentation on my cultutes food which is Tonga. I had fun doing this. I did it with a couple of classmates. I learnt a lot about my countries food.

[Koloa An Te Pounamu] Writing word problems
LI: To choose addition or subtract to solve word problems. We had an equation and we had to solve it using addition and and subtraction. We had different equations it got harder and harder but I keep going and going and never gave up I got all my equations right and did really good and learnt a lot.

Comet
Today for Reading our must do task was use the template just above and had to take screen shoots of what we did for Reading , What the point of the article was , Explain what we did for Reading and give a example. I learnt from Reading the book that Comets travel in from the outside edge of the solar system and that every time a comet travels around the sun some of it's icy material starts to evaporate. I was very struggling on answering the questions that were related to text and explaining what a timeline was.
